A Strong Result for the 12th TAGS & SODIAM Diamond Tender in Luanda, Angola

Trans Atlantic Gem Sales (TAGS) are delighted to report the successful conclusion of their recent Rough tender in Luanda, Angola.

The event was in association with Sodiam ran from 30th September to 8th October.

Previous tenders in Luanda have proved extremely popular, and this recent event did not disappoint. With 53 Lots sourced from 12 separate mines, the range and volume of goods was one of the most impressive that we have presented.

The sale, which attracted 39 of the top specialist manufacturers from around the world, featured a large number of Exceptional Special and Fancy coloured stones.

In total 94% of the lots presented, (1,721 cts) were sold, achieving sales revenues of $27.1m.

As ever the mines were extremely satisfied with the results.

These results reflect the continued strength of our partnership with SODIAM and our shared commitment to promoting Angola's diamond industry through a transparent, competitive and internationally accessible tender process.
